Boyle, II
John Boyle
founded J.L. Boyle International in 1981 and has over 30 years of experience
working on strategy development, turnarounds, restructurings, start-ups and
complex-litigation support. He has worked with both private and
publicly-traded companies, and his assignments have covered a wide range of
industries including retail, manufacturing, financial services, and many
areas of "high tech." In addition, John has consulted for numerous
government entities and law firms.
He has served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief
Administrative Officer, and Chief Financial Officer in many companies where
JLBI provided interim crisis and turnaround management. John is a seasoned
expert in the area of interim management.
John began his business career at Ford Motor Company’s Finance Staff under
the direction of J. Edward Lundy, the last of Ford's "Whiz Kids."
His tenure at Ford included assignments at Ford Credit, Treasury Operations,
and Finance Staff. Previously, he was an Instructor of Statistics and Operations
Research at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and
an Instructor of Mathematics at Georgia State University.
John holds a Master's Degree in Actuarial Science from Georgia State
University and a Master's Degree in Statistics and Operations research from
the Wharton School of Business.
John is an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at Eastern Michigan University
and also serves as the President of the Coalition for Intergenerational
Equity (a not-for-profit service and educational organization).
